![]() | Spirituals Steal Away - This is one of my most favorite Spirituals. The longing it evokes for me is intense. It's heart wrenching, yet filled with the kind of joy known only by those fully convinced their longing will be met. In the big picture, we really don't have long to stay here. I don't know what it is like to be physically enslaved by other humans, but know other kinds of slavery too well. Move us into more freedom, Lord Jesus!
