About Songwriter Jen . . .

Welcome!  Thank you for taking a minute to learn about me and this ministry.  I realize that this section is usually written in the third person, but I just couldn't do it! 

I am Jennifer Bluhm, a follower of Jesus Christ and a beloved daughter of the Most High God.  I have been called and anointed to pour out, through the power of Holy Spirit, the Father's love, encouragement, and healing through song and testimony.  As the Lord draws me to Himself, He continues to move me into and equip me for ministry to the the wounded, the weary, and the worried. We are all desperate for Jesus and starving for the love of the Father.  There is good news for us, for the Father has made a way through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, that we may enter into the presence of our Heavenly Father with confidence; that we may know and own the delight He has for us; that we might hear His whispers, obey through the power of the Holy Spirit, be transformed, and witness the transformation of those He encounters around us.

I know well the struggles, lies, and trappings of our flesh, the world, and it's rulers, but I have seen God reveal Himself in glory in ways I cannot deny.  I have seen Him take a horrible wrong and transform it into a treasure because He touched, breathed on, or spoke to it.  He is cultivating a passion within me to come along side His children and point to Him in the face of any trouble, attack, or suffering.  He has given me love for His Word, and has demonstrated its power in all kinds of circumstances.  He has been so exceedingly generous, that I have no more words to describe it.  He is mighty in power and gentle in spirit.  He is good, and He will show you His goodness.

This website hosts many songs I have written over the span of about 15 years and have had the opportunity to record.  I am glad to be open handed with them, so please stream, download, and/or burn these songs to CDs, and give them away to someone who needs to receive the encouragement the Spirit may hold for them therein.  You will also find some video presentations and live performances here as well.  Please visit my "portfolio" page for some of those projects. 

I live and minister in Minneapolis, MN and the surrounding area.  I am married and have two lovely children.  I very much enjoy partnering with various ministries and organizations, and I am able to and am available for leading congregational and small group musical worship; and providing original music and/or creative support for worship services, conferences, retreats, and special events including fundraisers, concerts, weddings, baptisms, and funerals.
